Judging begins: 3 pm
Age divisions: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16+
Categories:
¨ FANCY: Dress Modeling (red, white and/or blue theme)
¨ CASUAL: Casual/Sports Modeling (jeans, sportswear or other casual clothing)
¨ GLITTER: Costume Modeling (dance, skating, Disney, baton or other costume)
ALL CONTESTANTS WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY!
1ST PLACE WINNERS IN EACH CATEGORY AND AGE DIVISION WILL RECEIVE A CROWN AND THE TITLE(S):
“MISS STAR SPANGLED ILLINOIS FANCY”
“MISS STAR SPANGLED ILLINOIS CASUAL”
“MISS START SPANGLED ILLINOIS GLITTER”
Note: This is a natural style pageant. If make up and hair pieces are used on children and pre-teens, it should be kept to a minimum, be in good taste and give a natural appearance.
(This modeling event is being held in conjunction with the USTA IL. State and Open Baton Championships and will begin after the conclusion of the USTA contest).
Information: Judging will be done on the gym floor. Contestants will have the approximate size of ½ half a stage to walk around, model and pose in front of the judges on the gym floor. It will be an open pattern of the contestant’s choice as to how they walk and pose. Points will be given for appearance, personality, sparkle, spirit and eye contact.
Decision of the judges is final. The school district, contest director(s) and/or host group will not be responsible for mishaps, lost or stolen items or accidents.
Entry Fee: $35 per division entered No experience necessary, come give it a try!
